Let
Boat Valet do those chores
that you just don’t have the
time or inclination to do.
Interior cleaning,
detailing, shrink wrap, etc.
We can even do minor
fiberglass repairs and other
more serious work. If we
can’t do it for you we know
who can. So, let us take
some of the “hassle” out of
Spring commissioning or Fall
decommissioning and enhance
your enjoyment of your boat.
Every Spring a boat needs
cleaning to freshen and
brighten it for the
season...perhaps the teak
needs to be rubbed down, or
the upholstery needs
cleaning.
During the Fall your boat
need a final cleaning and
perhaps some of your system
need winterization. We can
either give you assistance
or do the work ourselves.
Let Boat Valet be your
resource for either helping
your lady out of her winter
hibernation or get her ready
for it. We live aboard our
boat year round (yes!! even
during the cold winter
months) so we know what
works.
Capt. Blue’s article in the
November, 2003, issue of
Live Aboard Magazine is the
basis for Boat Valet’s
shrink-wrapping service.
Shrink-wrapping is the
process whereby your boat is
wrapped in a plastic
cocoon to protect her
hardware and deck surfaces
from the harsh forces of
winter. If you are living
aboard for the winter it
will even provide you with a
warming passive solar heat
source to reduce your
heating costs and keep your
deck clear of snow and ice.
